Hello! My name is Lauryn Lawrence, I am a postgraduate student of University of Westminster studying Museums, Galleries, and Contemporary Culture. While simultaneously a freelance curator and photographer.

Now that we got introductions out of the way, I bring to you the fruits of my research when concerning the current curatorial strategies and frameworks used in museums and galleries when exhibiting artists of intersectional backgrounds. Through my research, I will be creating a curatorial framework that will work to distinguish helpful strategies when discussing and showcasing intersectional artists without placing them in cultural categories.

The final product of my research brings me here. Creating this virtual safe space for museum and gallery practitioners to discuss the current issues they are facing, how we can change the current curatorial strategies we are met with within institutions, and so much more.
